Essential Healthy Fats
Healthy fats, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, are principle ingredients of every Nutrience formula. included in the right, balanced ratio to nutritionally support healthy skin and a glossy coat.
Fish & Salmon Oil
Coldwater fish such as salmon and herring naturally contain some of the highest levels of DHA and EPA omega-3 fatty acids to nutritionally improve your pet's skin and coat, helping to reduce inflammation, support a healthier immune system, improve cognitive function and assist in prenatal development.
Flaxseed
These tiny seeds are packed with nutritional value. They're a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids and high in soluble and insoluble fibre for digestive health and smaller, firmer stools.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural source of lauric acid, a medium chain triglyceride (MCT). Lauric acid nutritionally elevates the metabolism for energy and vitality, helps protect from illness and supports healing, one of the reasons coconut oil is popular for pets (and people!) for skin concerns. Coconut oil has the added benefit of nutritionally enhancing digestion.
Pumpkin, Butternut Squash, Carrots, Spinach & Broccoli:
Their rich, bright colours advertise the presence of the powerhouse nutrient beta-carotene. Nutritionally boosts immunity, helps guard against illness, promotes cardiovascular health and good vision. These powerhouse fruits and vegetables also contain natural anti-inflammatory properties and give pets a natural source of dietary fibre for a healthy digestive tract and smaller, firmer stools.
Apples & Pears
Natural sources of pectin (a soluble fibre) that aids digestion and are naturally rich in potassium, helping to maintain heart health and muscle strength.
Blueberries, Cranberries & Pomegranates
Known as 'superfruits' they are valued for their numerous nutritionally protective anti-aging and metabolism boosting effects. These include properties that nutritionally help fight heart disease, memory loss, urinary tract infections and obesity.
Nutrient-Rich Botanicals
Botanicals have been long valued for their natural medicinal and therapeutic properties throughout history. Nutrience was an early adopted and has been including them in our formulas for over 15 years for their power to naturally, nutritionally strengthen and support healing.
Turmeric
Promotes circulation and nutritionally decreases inflammation.
Licorice Root
Nutritionally stimulates the immune system and has fast-acting, natural anti-inflammatory properties that are thought to be specifically useful for pets with bone and joint concerns.
Ginger, Fennel & Peppermint
There's a reason sea sickness pills includes ginger. Ginger, fennel and peppermint nutritionally help the entire digestive system.
Juniper Berries
Helps nutritionally promote urinary tract health, lower blood glucose levels, strengthen kidney function and may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Low-Glycemic Carbohydrates
Low-glycemic carbohydrates are thought to nutritionally lower the risk of diabetes and help prevent obesity. By limiting carbs to those with a lower glycemic index where possible, lowering or slowing release of glucose into the bloodstream, the pressure on the cells to produce insulin is reduced – as is the risk of diabetes.
Nutrience includes low GI staples such as sweet potatoes (kumara), steel-cut oats, lentils and green peas, for not only delicious, healthy ingredients, but to help nutritionally contribute to a longer, healthier life for your pet.
Nutritional Supplements
Beneficial to humans and pets alike, in addition to ensuring that our formulas contain all the vitamins, minerals and amino acids your pets require, we’ve also added prebiotics, probiotics, glucosamine and chondroitin. While prebiotics and probiotics work together to nutritionally support a healthy digestive system, glucosamine and chondroitin are incorporated into our formulas to help maintain hip and joint health.
